We all know that getting to and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is no piece of cake. Just saying the word "diet" can send you to the refrigerator. This negative attitude was acquired through a belief system inherited from past experience(s). But the negative (dissonance) between attitude and belief can be minimized through recognition of CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy). You either change the attitude or change the behavior/action. The Flamingo Plan's mantra is to remove the word "diet" from this program and focus on eating right, both nutritionally and in correct portion sizes that follows the science.
